چکیده

Traditional bandgap based current references have restricted temperature operating range due to the limited input common mode range of the feedback amplifier. This paper introduces a modified bandgap current reference that overcomes this limitation by placing a natural device (V, -0V) level shift stage between the amplifier and the bandgap. The circuit has been fabricated in a 0.25-pm CMOS process. It generates a reference current of 5pA with a temperature variation of 7% over an extended temperature range of 40°C to 150°C. The bandgap occupies approximately 170x80p2 and draws 56pA from a 1.5V supply.

A programmable CMOS bandgap voltage reference circuit using current conveyor

This paper presents a new structure of a bandgap circuit which can be programmed to get any desired output voltage. Unlike conventional bandgap circuits, the proposed bandgap circuit uses MOS transistors operating in subthreshold region instead of bipolar transistors to generate PTAT and IPTAT currents. Use of the current conveyor makes the circuit capable of being operated at lower supply volt...

A Low Voltage Switched-Capacitor Current Reference Circuit with low dependence on Process, Voltage and Temperature

A low voltage switched-capacitor circuit that generates an almost constant reference current across process, voltage and temperature (PVT) is proposed. The reference voltage is generated by a low voltage band-gap circuit. The output reference current is obtained by applying the generated reference voltage to a low voltage V – I converter. The resistor in the proposed V – I converter is further ...

|A 1.5GHz low noise ampli er, intended for use in a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, has been implemented in a standard 0.6 m CMOS process. The ampli er provides a forward gain (S21) of 22dB with a noise gure of only 3.5dB while drawing 30mW from a 1.5V supply. To the authors' knowledge, this represents the lowest noise gure reported to date for a CMOS ampli er operating in this freque...
